“When I get bigger daddy, I’m going to marry mummy”.

I explained to him that I’d gotten there first.

“Can I marry Kaytie (baby-sitter) then instead?”

Earlier in the day, I saw Ronnie holding my phone and typing.  Usually, he uses it to play games, but he was working hard.

“Daddy, I textdeded Mummy.  I wanted to tell her I love her..”

At the same time, he still sleeps on his super soft fake sheep pillow.  He’s had that a number of years now.  Some items have come and gone as Ronnie has grown up.  He’s really attached to the pillow however.

The album was a very old Clannad album from 1976 called Dúlamán. To my surprise, he loved it – especially the title track.  He loves the harp.

I had to explain to him that they were singing in gaelic, not “gay wick” – (that one was a little on the dangerous side to repeat in public).

After renting Sonic, he was really happy…

Last week, we went out twice.  Ronnie had never used brakes or ridden a bike on the road, so it was quite an adventure.  He was really proud to be out there.

I was even more proud.  Ronnie would stop every time he saw a car – not to avoid being hit, but to say hello to the driver.  It was great to see so many smiles.  He has a great little charm to him.  The world is a much better place with him in it.

Today we had a great time at TKD.  Ronnie did well in class (on his own), and then we made some new friends outside of class.  Ronnie was totally absorbed with the bigger boys and their Nintendo DS’.

We saw the Sorcerers Apprentice (much better than I expected) , then we headed over to the office to watch a Scooby Doo movie (I cannot believe we actually found one on Red Box he doesn’t own!)

Home in a little bit.  Probably one more movie, then bed.
